Grandma’s Diet for the 21st Century

This workshop will introduce the five food groups, which types of foods are in these groups with a particular focus on the sugar, salt and fats that we should be reducing as part of a healthy diet. Explore the contrasts between today’s processed foods and the 'meals cooked from scratch' of our grandparents’ era, when meals were prepared from local or home grown produce.
