Cinehub East

Create your own unique and personal soapstone sculpture. Aimed at beginners, this stone carving workshop will cover introductory techniques and use of materials involved in the carving of small, hand-held, tactile pieces of soapstone. Tools will be provided and the cost of the piece of soapstone is included in the course cost. Ideas for these carvings will be explored using the ‘Works from the Landscape’ exhibition as inspiration.
